City of Los Angeles Specialized and Expert Services for Proposition O Projects Optimization

Proposition O is a $500 million bond that has funded a number of water quality improvement projects in the City of Los Angeles since 2004. Upon construction, City protocol requires an “optimization period” to ensure all project elements are working in an optimal manner to assist in meeting water quality requirements.

CWE is performing a Best Management Practice (BMP) optimization study to evaluate and fine-tune the 11 constructed Proposition O projects in the City of Los Angeles. The study includes performing a preliminary evaluation of the project designs, preparing a monitoring plan and Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP), and conducting water quality sampling at the project sites.
