Water Quality Monitoring Support

 

CWE provides Permittees with technical monitoring recommendations on dry- and wet-weather water quality monitoring for both stormwater discharges and receiving waters to: help improve the overall effectiveness of a stormwater program; provide supporting data for long-term effectiveness assessments; develop special studies that identify sources of pollutants in the receiving waters; and facilitate the use of an iterative adaptive management approach to enhance water quality and other beneficial uses.

 

CWE assists clients in fulfilling agency requirements by designing and performing water quality monitoring to comply with NPDES Permit requirements.  CWE personnel are proficient in the development of comprehensive water quality monitoring plans, operation and maintenance of automated stormwater sampling equipment, and dry- and wet-weather sampling.  CWE offers the following water quality monitoring support services:

  • Development of Water Quality Monitoring Plans

  • O&M of Stormwater Sampling Equipment

  • Dry- and Wet-Weather Water Quality Sampling

  • Water Quality Monitoring Data and Trend Analysis

  • Preparation of Quality Assurance Project Plans
